Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
New clients are welcome to come in to the WACCS during hours of operation. Each client will meet with a staff person after completing a short in-take form.
Please bring the following on your first visit:
- Picture ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Birth Certificate(s) or birth confirmation for child(ren) needing diapers.
- Referral form or letter from another social service agency. (WIC, Welfare) who can verify a client’s low-income status and/or emergency situation. Referral letters may be given to the client to bring with them, emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 775 825 7006 or mailed to WACCS, Attn: Diaper Bank, 3905 Neil Road, Suite 2, Reno, Nevada 89502.
Women who are income eligible (185% of poverty or less) can receive diapers once a month for three months.
Clients enrolled in and regularly attending classes either at WACCS or other organizations can receive diapers weekly. Clients attending classes at other organizations will need to provide class enrollment and attendance verification to receive diapers
Special or extraordinary circumstances will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the Executive Director or Office Manager
Clients are asked to make a donation of $1 when they pick up diapers. No one will be denied diapers if they are unable to make a donation.
